Tips for Healthy Hair

Much to our delight we were recently sent a book by Philip Kingsley – Happy Hair Days, small hardback book with 50 tips for healthy hair. One of our readers had picked it up at a book fair.

We thought we would add some of the tips here and emphasize on them a little.  Philip Kingsley has been in the business of hair for over 50 years and has built a longstanding clientele from famous celebrities to politicians. His clients range from Mick Jagger, Laurence Olivier, Sigourney Weaver, Candice Bergen, and Audrey Hepburn. As Anna-Marie Solowij from Vogue stated:

“His client list reads like a roster of the most gorgeous heads of hair in the world.”

I figured following Philip Kingsley’s tips with a bit of added affordable knowledge would do no harm and I am going to start implementing some of the ideas that I will be reading about.

  • Eat a balanced diet that is rich in greens and protein.
  • Don’t smoke or drink excessively.
