Joe Facial Scrub and Moisturiser Review

Yet more positive feedback from the Men’s Boutique team regarding the Joe Grooming products we’ve all been trialling! This time, it comes in the form of their Facial Scrub and Moisturiser.

We personally feel that many manufacturers overload their grooming products with too much fragrance but JOE Grooming products are created with just a delicate hint of aroma, definitely, something that in experience, men prefer.
The facial scrub is a wonderful product that we recommend you use at least once a week. It’s perfect for a deep exfoliation – something that we all need due to the constant bombardment our skin receives from a multitude pollutants in the air around us.  Try using it whilst showering, giving your face a gentle massage for about 2 to 3 minutes will do wonders for you – not only to remove the dead skin but it also leaves your face feeling amazingly soft and squeaky clean too. Add to this its delicate peppermint scent and you’ll step out of the shower feeling wonderfully refreshed!

Each time I shave, I like to use a face scrub and give my beard and jaw areas a good exfoliation before I apply the shave cream. This method not only gives the area a thorough cleanse, it also softens it up ready for a closer and smoother shave.

Using the moisturiser

Pat your face dry leaving just a little moisture to blend with the JOE Grooming Moisturiser. Though it’s not perfumed, there is a delicate, clean scent to it, no doubt from the olive and soy oils as well as cucumber extract, flower extract and a few other deliciously healthy ingredients.   It’s a gentle moisturiser and though it seems thin as you pour a few drops into your hand, as you gently massage this smooth lotion into the face, you can feel just how hydrating it is.
